Staff at Barratt Manchester HQ enjoyed their biggest ever ‘Bake Off’ bonaza – donning their aprons to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Friday 30th September saw Macmillan host its ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning,’ and the team rose to the challenge, baking up a storm in preparation for the big bake sale, and raising £511.09 for the cancer charity.
The house-builder’s moonlighting as amateur bakers and cake connoisseurs, tucked into everything from cupcakes and muffins to cheesecake and brownies, all in aid of raising both funds and awareness for Macmillan.
Barratt Manchester Sales Director Michaela Lancaster said
“I’m extremely proud of the Barratt Manchester team for coming together to raise money for such a wonderful charity which carries out fantastic work around cancer support.
“The office was certainly full of delicious treats on Friday, so I’d like to thank everyone that donated their time to this very important cause.”
