Francis House provides a home from home where families can receive professional care, support and friendship for themselves and their children, who have life threatening or life limiting conditions.

From their site in Didsbury, the organisation is a lifeline to more than 500 families from across Greater Manchester including Stockport, Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester, Salford and Trafford.

Peter Forster, Francis House Hospice’s Fundraising Manager, said: “We are really grateful for all of the help that we have received from Barratt Homes Manchester.

“The funds raised help us to continually expand our services in order to meet the growing needs of all of our patients and their families so we want to say a huge thank you to the leading homebuilder for their support.

Neil Goodwin, Managing Director at Barratt Homes Manchester, said: “We are so glad to have helped raise in excess of £100,000 over the last four years for Francis House, an organisation which helps hundreds of families a year.

“It is important to us that as well as building quality homes, we support and assist the local communities and organisations in which we build to the best of our ability.”
